I guess they give away a new $10,000 scholarship every two weeks.  From what I saw it is not need or merit based but just a random drawing every two weeks.  It took me about 5 minutes to fill out all the fields, so now I'll just wait to see what happens.  Some people on the yahoo scholarship forums were saying that they had won in the past, so I assume it is legit.  Couldn't hurt, right?

scholarshippoints.com works in the same way, but you have to already be in college for this one. I accrued a LOT of points with them and entered many of the drawings, only to realize that even if I won, I wouldn't have been able to get the money

Yeah! They are many site now offering a $10,000 scholarship drawing just like free scholarships for moms. It is just a simple forms to fill up  and ready to go for the next drawing. Who knows maybe we are the lucky ones. I would say just apply to them because they are opportunities to us and no harm applying to them. By applying to them, we are giving ourselves an opportunity.
