I'm 22 years old and am looking to get back into school. However, because I'm under 24 and not married and have no children, FASFA is denying me for any help! They go by my parents tax return and they make about 100,000. However, I've been on my own since I was 18 and they don't financially support me in any way!!! And they're not going to help me financially for school, like apparently FASFA thinks. What can I do?? My credit is poor, so I'm afraid I won't be able to get a student loan. Any suggestions? Please help!
